Outdoor Club
Get your kids outside enjoying being active in nature! Y staff will lead your children through fun adventures including hiking, biking, fishing, creek exploration, nature identification, survival skills, making walking sticks, painting rocks, playing games, archery, camping tips and much more! Weekly Schedule:
July 30 & August 1
- Location: Ed Myer Complex – Meet near BMX Track
- Bring bike & helmet
- This weeks activities include biking at the BMX track and on the bike trails, and playing games like kickball on the Ed Myer Complex fields
August 6 & 8
- Location: Colonel Drake Archers (41267 Bog Hollow Rd, Titusville)
- Participants should wear clothes that are okay to get dirty and/or wet
- This weeks activities include hiking on trails, nature identification, find a walking stick to later decorate, finding rocks to paint, and creek exploration
August 13 & 15
- Location: Colonel Drake Archers (41267 Bog Hollow Rd, Titusville)
- Participants should wear clothes that are okay to get dirty and/or wet
- This weeks activities include learning survival skills, fishing, decorating walking sticks, painting rocks, and building a fire
Activities will be modified if necessary (weather, etc.)
