Join the YMCA Virtual Duathlon for a fun challenge and extra motivation to keep moving this fall! The Virtual Duathlon will run from September 27- November 6th. This six week challenge will consist of a 6.2 mile run, 24.8 mile bike ride, and end with a 3.1 mile run. Participants can walk, jog, or run the portions labeled “run.” Biking can be completed on an outdoor bike or a stationary bike. Sections do not need to be completed before moving onto the next. Small portions can be done at a time and added together. A picture of your fitness tracker, or stationary bike screen if you’re using a stationary bike for the biking portion, must be posted on the Titusville YMCA Wellness Challenges Group on Facebook to receive credit. Totals for the week will be added up and posted on the group page every Friday. Participants that complete the YMCA Virtual Duathlon by November 6th will receive a BELLA + CANVAS t-shirt.
For an added challenge, once you’ve met your mileage for the Duathlon, keep going and posting your results to see how many Duathlons you can complete by November 6th.
