Swim Team
Parent meeting for new swimmers – Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30pm at the YMCA
Practices start Monday, September 23. There is a trial week the first week of practice for those that are unsure if their child is ready for swim team.
The regular competitive season runs October through February. Post-season runs through March.
All participants must have a Y membership in good standing and pay monthly dues.

What is the cost for my child to participate on swim team?
Monthly dues are to be paid the first day of the upcoming month. The fee structure is set on an annual basis. Discounts included for siblings and high school swimmers not attending Y practice. New swimmers can opt to do a one-week trial for a small fee to see what competitive swimming is all about.
Additionally, each swimmer is required to have a current Titusville YMCA membership throughout the entire swim season.
Is my child ready for swim team?
Swimmers must be 5 years of age by December 1, 2024, and be able to swim at least one length of the pool freestyle. They will be given a swim test on the first night of practice to see if they are ready. The final decision is at the discretion of the head coach.
When will my child typically be practicing?
Generally:
Ages 10 & under practice Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Ages 11 & older practice Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Dryland practices will be held on Wednesdays as posted.
When are swim meets held?
Swim meets are held on Saturdays and some traveling is required.
How will we receive communications?
All team communication will be through the Band app: https://band.us/n/acab70jeq3R46
2024-2025 Season
The participant registering for swim team must have a current YMCA membership. If you get an error message or a “Registration Closed” message when you attempt to register, you may have to renew your membership prior to registering.
New Swimmers – if you would like to participate in the Trial Week, please first register for the New Swimmer Trial Week. If you decide to join swim team, you will need to come back to this page to register for the 2024-2025 season.
