Parent meeting for new swimmers – Wednesday, September 20 at 6:30pm at the YMCA

Practices start Monday, September 25. There is a trial week the first week of practice for those that are unsure if their child is ready for swim team.

The regular competitive season runs October through February. Post-season runs through March.

All participants must have a Y membership in good standing and pay monthly dues.

What is the cost for my child to participate on swim team?
There is a $10 fee for the first week, which is a trial week. If your child decides to continue, there is a monthly fee of $20 per month.
Additionally, each swimmer is required to have a current Titusville YMCA membership throughout the entire swim season.

Is my child ready for swim team?
Swimmers must be 5 years of age by December 1, 2023, and be able to swim at least one length of the pool freestyle. They will be given a swim test on the first night of practice to see if they are ready. The final decision is at the discretion of the head coach.

When will my child typically be practicing?
Generally:
Ages 10 & under practice Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Ages 11 & older practice Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Dryland practices will be held on Wednesdays as posted.

When are swim meets held?
Swim meets are held on Saturdays and some traveling is required.
